Returns All the hens we sell are a minimum of 16 weeks old and are the most comprehensively vaccinated in the UK. Our birds are also blood tested. We ONLY send birds if they are fit and well. We sell our hens with a ONE week guarantee against health problems. In the highly unlikely event you have concerns about your hens, please let us know immediately. All hens MUST have daily access to a rehydration solution for the first 7 days. If a hen should die and you require a refund, please do not dispose of the bird until you have checked with us. We may need to order a post-mortem to establish the reason. We cannot extend this guarantee to protect hens against predators (e.g. foxes, dogs etc), any hens that escape from their new home or for behavioural problems. We have a strong belief in the quality of our birds but we are unable to guarantee them for longer than a week as we cannot control their living conditions or any stress which they may be exposed to. You must give us 24 hours notice before you intend to return the hen(s) so we can make arrangements. This is important for the welfare of the hen(s); failure to do so may result in us being unable to take the hen(s) back. You are liable for any costs incurred for the return transport of the hen(s). Please note that we are unable to refund orders that are not collected from arranged collection points. |
